Import Your Data From Digital Surge
There are two ways you can use to import your data automatically. These are by using either an API key or a CSV file. Therefore, we’ll go over each of these ways.
Using Your Digital Surge API Key
The API connection is the easiest method to use when importing your transactions. This is because it automatically imports your transactions and keeps them up to date. To use this method, first create an API key on Digital Surge. To do so, click the drop-down menu and select “API Key”.
Next, click on ‘create a new API key’ and select ‘read only’. You will then receive your new API key, which you can then use in our platform. Below is a screenshot of what this looks like.
Next, head to ACCOINTING.com and to the “Add Wallet” section and search for Digital Surge. The API option is the first one to come up and there will be a field where you can paste your API key and select your desired timeframe.
And you’re done! It should sync all your trading activity with your ACCOINTING account. You can now view your portfolio’s performance along with several other insights in the dashboard section.
Using Your Digital Surge CSV File
Another way to import your transactions is through a CSV file. You can easily export this file from Digital Surge’s transaction history page. Just locate the “Export history” drop-down menu on the top right-hand side of your dashboard.
Click on export history, and then transaction history, enter your desired date range and select CSV file.
Once you have your CSV file, go to the “Add Wallet” section of the site in the “Wallets” menu. Doing so will bring you to the following page.
Now, we’ll need to search for “Digital Surge” in the provided search box.
Next, select ‘File’, which will present you with a popup similar to the one shown below.
Finally, Drag the CSV file that you previously exported from Digital Surge into the window and press ‘Save connection’. Once finished, you should be done importing your transactions.
Conclusion
By now, you should now clearly understand how to import your Digital Surge transactions, using both the API and the CSV import methods.
